Ask an AI whether it knows your company.

More and more buying decisions start with someone asking an AI for a recommendation. The answer names a handful of companies. This test tells you whether you are among them.

What the test actually measures

The test puts the same question your customer would ask to a language model and shows the answer as it comes. The model answers from what has ended up in its training data and sources. If your company is not in them, the model does not recognise it.

Three things are worth keeping in mind when reading the result.

Not being recognised is the normal starting point

Most Finnish SMEs are unknown to language models. That does not mean the company is unknown to its customers or weak on Google. It means not enough has been written about it in the sources the models draw from.

One model is not the whole truth

The test asks one model. ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity know different sources and search the web differently, so the answers differ. A full GEO check goes through several models and also looks at which sources they cite.

The model can be wrong

A language model can confuse companies with similar names or remember outdated information. If the answer is wrong, that is a finding in itself: your customers see the same mistakes.

Why this matters

In a search engine, ten blue links gave several companies a chance of being chosen. An AI answer typically names two or three, and nobody scrolls further. When a model names a company it does not look like an advert, it looks like a recommendation, and that cannot be bought.

Visibility in AI search is built from the same ingredients as search visibility, but the emphasis differs. Models pick up content that answers questions directly, defines terms clearly and is easy to quote. Just as important is whether other trusted sources point to the company.

A GEO check goes through several language models, compares you against competitors and tells you where the information comes from. The consultation is free.
